Services

Everything a brokerage needs, from one provider.

One plan, built around how an insurance brokerage actually operates. The everyday IT, the security, the compliance reporting and the broking platform are all in it – one number to ring and nobody passing you between suppliers.

How it fits together

One plan. Nearly all of it is in there.

Most IT providers sell you a base package and then charge separately for the things you actually needed. Security as an upsell. Backup as a line item. Compliance reporting as a project.
We don’t work that way. The everyday IT, the security and compliance, and the broking platform are all in one monthly fee, along with the phone system, the procurement, the printers and someone owning your roadmap.
Two things sit outside it, because they are project work with a defined scope rather than ongoing service.

What’s included

What you actually get.

In the plan

Managed IT & Microsoft 365

The everyday, and rather more than that. Someone answers the phone, machines get patched, Microsoft 365 works, the phone system works, new laptops arrive already set up, and there is a written record of your environment so nothing depends on one person’s memory.
It also covers the part most providers leave out: someone senior owning your technology roadmap, telling you what next year should cost and whether the upgrade your vendor is pushing is actually worth doing.
Server, cloud-only, or somewhere in between. We are not going to tell you to rip out a server that is doing its job.
  • +Service desk, staffed 6:30am to 7pm AEST
  • +Device monitoring, patching and management
  • +Microsoft 365 administration and mailbox management
  • +Microsoft licensing advice, so you are on the right plan rather than the one you drifted into
  • +Teams Phone and telephony
  • +Technology strategy and roadmap, so someone senior owns where you are heading
  • +Device procurement: quoted, ordered and set up before it reaches the user
  • +Printers and multifunction devices, including dealing with the copier vendor
  • +Server and hosting management, on-premise or cloud
  • +Staff training and new starter inductions
  • +Environment documentation kept current

In the plan · the one nobody else offers

Broking Systems

Your broking platform is the one application the business cannot operate without, and the one most IT providers refuse to touch. We run it: the software, the server underneath it, and the vendor relationship on top of it.
JAVLN, Ebix, [OTHERS?]. If you are being pushed off a legacy version, that migration is a job we have done before.
  • +Install, upgrade and patch across every workstation
  • +Build and run the server or hosting it sits on
  • +Raise and chase vendor tickets on your behalf
  • +Manage user licences with the platform vendor
  • +Platform migrations without losing data
  • +Integrations with the rest of your tools
  • +Training for your team and every new starter

Add on · the one that pays for itself

Automation

The repetitive work that eats a day a week and never appears on anyone’s job description. A new authorised representative starts and their accounts, mailbox, Teams access and licences appear the same day. Someone leaves and their access is gone immediately, not a fortnight later.
Around 106,000 tasks a month run across our clients without anyone raising a ticket for them.
  • +Starter and leaver automation across every platform
  • +Mailbox, Teams and SharePoint provisioning
  • +Licence assignment and reclamation
  • +Ticket triage and routing
  • +Automated monthly reporting
  • +Custom workflows for your own processes

In the plan · the one your licensee asks about

Cyber & Compliance

Controls that are enforced and verified rather than assumed, and the evidence to prove it when [LICENSEE / AUDITOR] asks. Access reviews produce a report instead of somebody’s weekend.
  • +Multi-factor authentication, enforced and validated
  • +Conditional access policies
  • +Security baseline checks against a known standard
  • +Backup and disaster recovery, tested
  • +Scheduled access reviews with audit evidence
  • +Offboarding records that stand up to scrutiny

Add on

Websites & Hosting

Most brokerages end up with a website from one supplier, hosting from another and an IT provider who will not touch either. We do all three, so when the site goes down at 9am there is one number to ring.
  • +WordPress design and build
  • +Australian hosting with SSL
  • +Backups, updates and uptime monitoring
  • +Billed under the same agreement as your IT
The baseline

No surprises on the invoice.

One fixed monthly fee. Unlimited support inside it. No hourly charges, no after-hours premium, and no invoice for something you assumed was included.

A named account contact

Someone who knows your business, not whoever picks up.

24/7 emergency support

Answered around the clock and never billed at an after-hours rate.

Documentation kept current

Your environment written down, so nothing lives only in someone’s head.

Monthly reporting

What actually happened, not a green tick on a dashboard.

The difference

What to ask any IT provider.

Five questions worth putting to whoever you are considering, including us. The answers tell you more than a capability statement will.
The questionBrokerReadyA generalist IT provider
Do you know what our broking system is?JAVLN, Ebix and the versions underneath themUsually not, and learns on your time
Will you deal with the platform vendor for us?We raise it, chase it and stay on the callLogs a ticket and hands it back to you
Is compliance evidence part of the service?Built into how every client is runTypically quoted as a separate project
How long does onboarding an AR take?Automated, same dayA ticket per platform, by hand
What do you charge for after-hours?Nothing. 24/7 emergency, no surchargeCommonly billed at a premium rate
How it is charged

Simple enough to explain in three lines.

One plan, per user and per device

A monthly rate for each person and each machine, covering the whole plan rather than a base tier. Most brokerages are one device per person; a second device for the same person is discounted.

Two things priced separately

Automation builds and website work are quoted as projects, because they have a defined scope and an end date. Servers and additional offices are also priced on top.

A term that suits you

Agreed at proposal rather than imposed.

Common questions

The things people ask on the first call.

Do we have to move everything across at once?
Not on day one. The plan covers everything, but we bring it across in stages so nothing breaks — usually the service desk and Microsoft 365 first, then the broking platform, then the compliance work. If your current arrangement has a notice period on part of it, we work around that rather than asking you to pay twice.
What happens with our current IT provider?
We handle the transition, including asking them for the access and documentation we need. You should not be the one chasing your outgoing provider for passwords.
Do you actually support our broking system, or just log tickets?
Both. We install, upgrade and patch it, run the server it sits on, and handle the vendor relationship. Where something is genuinely the vendor’s to fix, we raise it and stay on it rather than handing the reference number back to you.
Are we locked into a long contract?
The term is agreed at proposal rather than imposed as a standard.
We are not in Queensland. Does that matter?
No. We support brokerages in every Australian state and territory and in New Zealand, and we are remote by design. The staffed window of 6:30am to 7pm AEST covers a full working day from Auckland through to Perth.

Not sure what you are missing? Start there.

Thirty minutes with someone who has seen your broking system before. We will walk you through what is in the plan and what your current provider is leaving out.
